A stronger maker community.

A store can sell you a board. It takes a community to show you what it’s for. BooLabz exists because makers publish their firmware, document their pinouts, film their teardowns, and answer each other’s questions at midnight. This page is where the store meets that community.

Share what you build

Built something with gear from BooLabz, or with anything else? We want to see it. Send a photo or a link to bones@bonesrnd.com with a few lines about what it does and what you learned. Finished projects, half-finished projects, and glorious failures are all welcome; the failures usually teach the most.

Get help choosing

Not sure which board fits your project, whether a display will work with your microcontroller, or what else you’ll need to finish a build? Ask before you buy. Reach us at bones@bonesrnd.com or (561) 446-0682 and we’ll help you pick the right parts, or tell you honestly if we don’t carry what you need.

Support the people behind the hardware

Many of the products we carry are open hardware, run open-source firmware, or come from small independent teams. Where a product is built on an open project, its page links to the documentation and source when we have them. If a project saves you time, consider starring the repository, filing a good bug report, or supporting the maintainers directly. That’s what keeps the ecosystem alive.

House rules

  • Be kind. Everyone was a beginner once, and most of us still are at something.
  • Give credit. Link the project, the author, and the source when you share someone else’s work.
  • Share what you learn. A pinout, a fix, or a wiring photo can save the next person a weekend.
  • Keep it safe. Mains voltage, lithium cells, and lasers deserve respect; say so when a project involves them.
